A few items our regulars swear by. Made fresh every morning with ingredients from farms and makers right here in central Texas.
Our house signature — a velvety oat milk latte with a hint of lavender and local wildflower honey. Smooth, floral, and quietly addictive. Made with single-origin espresso roasted in Austin.
$6.50
Thick-cut sourdough from a local bakery, smashed avocado, pickled fresno chiles, and a soft poached egg. Simple, seasonal, and impossibly satisfying. A perennial menu staple.
$13.00
Fluffy, lightly sweet pancakes made with whole-milk ricotta and fresh lemon zest. Served with seasonal fruit compote and a dusting of powdered sugar. Weekend brunch in a single bite.
$14.50
Lena Torres opened The Grind & Bloom with one clear intention: to create a café in Austin where the food actually means something. Every item on the menu starts with a question — who grew it, where did it come from, and does it taste like it was made with care? The answer at The Grind & Bloom is always yes.
We source our produce, dairy, and pantry staples from local farms and independent Texas makers. Our menu rotates with the seasons because fresh, in-season ingredients simply taste better — and supporting local agriculture is part of who we are. When the Texas Hill Country has good peaches, you'll find them on our menu. When the summer heat calls for something cold and bright, our drinks change to match.
Our values are pretty simple: great food, honest hospitality, and a space where everyone feels genuinely welcome. Whether you're settling in with your laptop and a Bloom Latte, catching up with a friend over brunch, or grabbing a quick pastry on your way to work — this place is built for you. The vibe is warm but never fussy. The coffee is always fresh.
The Grind & Bloom has become more than a café — it's a gathering place at the heart of the Austin community. We're grateful for every regular who's made this corner feel like theirs, every first-time visitor who walks in curious, and every farmer and maker whose work lands on our tables. Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.

"The Bloom Latte has completely ruined all other lattes for me — I'm not even mad about it. I work remotely and come here at least three times a week. The space is calm, the wifi is reliable, and the avocado toast is the best I've had in Austin by a wide margin. Lena and the team make you feel like you actually belong here."

"I brought my mom here when she visited from San Antonio and she asked me to move closer so she could come back. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are genuinely outstanding — light, lemony, not too sweet. The seasonal fruit compote changes depending on what's good, which I respect so much. A café that actually thinks about food."

"There are a dozen coffee shops within walking distance of my apartment and I still choose The Grind & Bloom every time. The vibe is genuinely cozy without being pretentious. I love that the menu changes — it means there's always something new to try, but the classics I rely on are always there. The Cold Brew Tonic is my summer obsession."
